Finding this site was a tearful event. In 2001 I attempted to start a baby shower business with a lady I worked with. I invested everything I had, accept for my house, in order to purchase what I felt I needed. I spent a lot of money having a really cute wooden (and painted) cut out of a huge baby made. I would attend events at babies r us and hand out flyers. When the lady was laid off, we used her phone number as our contact phone number. Needless to say, she bolted with everything. Since then I have thought about giving it another try, but fear seems to get in my way. Things have changed so much, the economy has gone down, etc. A lack of belief and faith in myself has stopped me in my track. I am hopeful that with all I can read and learn here that I will gain the confidence to give it a try and pray it will be a great success.
